Israel & their Land

hendri1My name is Hendrik and I make comments only from what I see in the Bible. I am an Evangelist preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I was interested in the article I read so it is below. and I am simply making a few comments

You bet. A friendly note.

So here is my thinking. Is this true in the comment further below my note.
God gave the Land of Israel to the Jews eternally, did not revoke His covenant, did not break His promise and did not replace the people of Israel at any point ever.”

This is an introduction to below and I agree with the article below that God has given the land of Israel to the Jews eternally. He has never revoked his covenant and never will. God has always states he will honour what he says. So therefore if God never revoked that promise what has happened?

In the past the Jews have said how is it possible that evil has come our way when God is in our midst? God’s answer has always been I did not break my covenant, but you have broken the covenant between you and me. You are refusing to obey me, so you have brought evil on yourself.

So Jews were tossed out of the promised land because they refuse to obey God. Discussed further below.

The second point is that God has never replaced the Jews for another group such as Gentiles. Unfortunately it is clear Jesus himself said the Jews were bearing no fruit, they were going to kill him.  I will not explain the parable of the vineyard where those who were workers sent in to tend the vineyard and the owner of the vineyard ask for the fruit, but workers refused to hand the fruit to the owner in fact attacked the people who were to get the fruit and finally the workers in the vineyard decided to kill the owner of the vineyard. This parable is about Jesus.

So Jesus said, “What will you do with these workers who did this evil?” Toss out the workers and put in new servants and that is exactly what has happened. More info below.

Even Paul finally said, “Because you refuse to listen I will now go to the Gentiles.”

2016 you see it is true the Gospel is not preached from the Jews in Israel. Israel is empty about the living God and it is happening even the countries around Israel.

God has always said and is even saying today, “If you return to me, then I will return to you.” This means there is a problem today with the Jews and their understanding. (discussed below.) If the Jews understood they would see the living God and recognise Jesus Christ. When this happens then all the wonderful promises to physical Israel will happen and become a land of milk and honey with peace around its borders.

Above is preliminary comments. Enjoy the read below.

Flag of Israel. To support my comments I am saying there is a strong possibility that his thinking is not a reality in God’s Kingdom. I will make comments to recent events to the events back in Israel History.

Creation of Israel, 1948. On May 14, 1948, David Ben-Gurion, the head of the Jewish Agency, proclaimed the establishment of the State of Israel. U.S. President Harry S. Truman recognized the new nation on the same day.

The interesting issue is that the creation of Israel happened because the Jews were being deported out of countries and particularly Europe. The Jews were left with no where to go, so I’m sure it was a humanity response of major players to show compassion to the Jews.

The horror during the second world war of the Jewish nation being slaughtered in their millions will never be appreciated by  outside people. Horrific, beyond understanding that any people could treat a nation like this.

I see the documentaries, I was born 1948 I am saddened by what has happened and fortunately most nations who participated have tried to re-write a wrong. A blot in humanity.

There are religious groups who try to claim to be Evangelistic, may be Orthodox, maybe being true to the Bible because of what they read and say God destined these horrors to happen, but God did it with a heavy heart.

I would have to say to say God destined these horrors so that is why it happened have tossed away God’s traits such as pure, peaceable, gentle, kind, mercy, open to reason, goodness, compassion, care about you, no uncertainty, no insincerity, kindness and the good traits can go on and on. These traits are God and he will have nothing to do anything evil. He will not look at evil.

So! What has happened?

Any evil action starts with mankind themselves tossing away what God has told them what to do and by disobeying God has a domino affect. Disobeying of God  instructions such as not loving your neighbours as yourself has resulted in people completely turning inward thinking only about themselves and locking out any person other then themselves.

As we have seen strong groups force people to submit to them and in the end it can led to the destruction completely of a country killing millions of people.

Israel has not existed since they were sent into exile  In 586 BC, Judah itself ceased to be an independent kingdom, and the earlier deportees found themselves without a homeland, without a state, and without a nation. This period, which actually begins in 597 but is traditionally dated at 586 BC, is called the Exile in Jewish history.

Even though they were allowed to go back to their land they had never recovered from the land they lost. So officially Israel at least in 1948 became a country and we see it 2016 as I write this.

Bible perspective below. God’s word.

Now from the Bible let us talk about the history of Israel. The Hebrews were in Egypt and were made slaves for 400 years and through Moses they were freed from bondage and God had given then the land of Canaan it was a land of flowing with honey and the land was prosperous.

In the land of Canaan they began to take over nation over nation such as Amonites, the Canaanites, the Hittites, Perizzites, Jebusites. The Jews were to occupy the entire land from

17 Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying,

“To your [t]descendants I have given this land,
From the river of Egypt as far as the great river, the river Euphrates:

19 the Kenite and the Kenizzite and the Kadmonite 20 and the Hittite and the Perizzite and the Rephaim 21 and the Amorite and the Canaanite and the Girgashite and the Jebusite.”

The land was a fertile belt as we read in our history books.

So the Jews took over a prosperous land and God told the Jews if they obey my voice everything will be good and prosperous. God also said if you disobey me you will be cursed and the rain will stop. So over the years the rain stopped and as we know the entire land is almost a desert.

So the Jews had their promised land and unfortunately they disobeyed God and finally they were vomited out of the land.

The Jews have never been able to reclaim what they lost. They lost their land.

Having made a few comments I feel the greatest event that changed history was the betrayal of the Jews with Jesus.. Jesus came home to his people. The leaders wanted nothing to do with him. False witnesses were used at the trial, Caesar wanted Jesus released and the Jews anger was so great they called out Crucify! Crucify! Let his blood be on our head. They desperately wanted Jesus killed put out of the way, because as they said if Jesus was not stopped the whole world would follow Jesus and they, the leaders would lose their positions, power etc,  and finally Caesar said to the Jews Crucify Jesus yourself. That is what has happened. God was one step ahead and raised Jesus from the dead.

In a true way I would have to say there appears to be a problem even today 2016

because as Jesus said, the Kingdom of God was to be taken from them as well. So they lost two things
1/ Their land. God did not take the land from the Jews. Other nations came and desolated the land of Israel. The Jews did it to themselves. In anger other nations came to teach the Jews a lesson. Google and read at your leisure.
2/ They are no longer to preach the Kingdom of God.

Are the Jews obeying God’s voice today?
Do the Jews recognise Jesus as the Messiah?
We see a problem here because the Jews are still waiting for their Messiah and their Messiah came 2000 years ago.

Am I correct?

New online Bible explains Israel’s right to the Land of Israel

Do they have any right. I wonder.

Cheers

New online Bible explains Israel’s right to the Land of Israel

Founder of project Rabbi Tuly Weisz: We’re certainly living in critical times where support for Israel is more divisive than ever and solidifying Biblical support for Israel among the Christian Zionist community is more important than ever at this moment.

A unique online Bible centered around the Jewish people’s connection to the Land of Israel was launched on the Internet just over a week ago. The project, called The Israel Bible, was initiated by an organization called Israel 365 that is based in the city of Beit Shemesh, located in central Israel.

“We’re certainly living in critical times where support for Israel is more divisive than ever and solidifying Biblical support for Israel among the Christian Zionist community is more important than ever at this moment,” Rabbi Tuly Weisz, founder and director of Israel 365, told Tazpit Press Service (TPS). Rabbi Weisz’s organization uses videography and photography to display Israel’s religious significance and attributes.

The Israel Bible project provides readers and subscribers with a number of educational features. In addition to the commentaries written by ten of Israel’s leading educators and tour guides explaining the Jewish people’s connection to the Land of Israel, the Bible also comes equipped with interactive Google maps showing the various locations of numerous events in the Bible throughout the Land of Israel.

While Israel has traditionally received a significant amount of support from the evangelical Christian community, Rabbi Weisz told TPS that providing this educational tool for Christians as well as Jews is of significant importance in light of current developments.

“The evangelical voice on Israel is being pulled away from us by the BDS movement, which is really looking to chip away at evangelical support for Israel,” noted Rabbi Weisz. “This Israel Bible, which is directed at the Christian Zionist evangelical market, can help evangelicals become more knowledgeable of what the Bible says about Israel and to whom Israel belongs as well as the source of the Jewish right to the Land of Israel.”

BDS (the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement against Israel) has attempted over the last several years to convince members of the Christian evangelical community to adopt an anti-Israel theological position.

“From March 7-10 there was a Christ at the Checkpoint, anti-Israel, pro-BDS evangelical conference in Bethlehem,” Rabbi Weisz related.

The conference was run by the Bethlehem Bible College and a number of Palestinian and international evangelical Christians were invited to the conference in order “to challenge evangelicals to take responsibility to help resolve the (Israeli-Palestinian conflict)” and to “create a platform for serious engagement with Christian Zionism and an open forum for ongoing dialogue between all positions within the evangelical theological spectrum.”

“It was not a Catholic conference. It was an evangelical conference,” Rabbi Weisz noted. “They don’t like that evangelicals are associated with being pro-Israel and they are trying to get the evangelical community to question the Jewish claim to Israel.”

Rabbi Weisz said that the only way to get evangelicals to question the validity of the Jewish people’s claim to the Land of Israel is to add details and perspective to the Bible that were not there beforehand.

“The only way to get evangelicals to question the Jewish people’s right to the Land of Israel is by rewriting the Bible and by reading things into the Bible that are simply not there,” Rabbi Weisz explained. “For example, they say that God rejected Israel and that He had a covenant with Israel and then rejected His covenant and replaced Israel.”

“They would claim therefore that we have no right to the land and that we are stealing it from the ‘rightful’ Palestinian owners of the land,” continued Rabbi Weisz.

The Israel Bible has already reached milestone numbers of subscribers and readers.

“We have approximately 10,000 people who have signed up for their own personalized reading plans in just the past few weeks since we’ve launched the website,” Rabbi Weisz shared with TPS.

The Bible also encourages the dissemination of informational and educational content on social media.

“We incorporated innovative technology allowing people to get points for commenting, asking questions, and sharing,” explained Rabbi Weisz.

Rabbi Weisz remains very hopeful and optimistic that The Israel Bible project will succeed in spreading knowledge and awareness in the evangelical Christian community about Israel’s just and rightful claim to the Land of Israel.with the educational ammunition to refine their beliefs and to understand that God gave the Land of Israel to the Jews eternally, did not revoke His covenant, did not break His promise and did not replace the people of Israel at any point ever.”
